Tammie Thacker is a native of Mamaroneck, New York, and currently resides in Port Chester, New York. She is the proud mother of two children, Thomas, and Jasmine, and grandmother of three handsome grandsons, Bentley, Domonik, and Brixton.

Tammie received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Monroe University, New Rochelle, New York. She worked in management for seven years, before receiving an Applied Associate in Respiratory Care from Westchester Community College, Valhalla, NY.

Tammie has worked in the field of respiratory for the past twenty-nine years, specializing in adult critical care, pediatrics, and long-term care. She also worked during the pandemic with critically ill patients in need of mechanical ventilation, and other critical medical needs.

Tammie has been a member of The Church of the Living God, Inc., for over thirty years. She has worked in various areas within the Church, including usher/nurse president, praise and worship team, Sunday School teacher for adults, Pastor-aide ministry president, and presently overseer the Ministerial Council. She also is the national nurse ministry president for the Church of the Living God, Inc.

Tammie holds Certificates in Evangelism, and General Bible I and II from Manhattan Bible Institute, New York, NY. She graduated from Dominion Theological Seminary with a Bachelor of Theology, and Church Administration, and will receive her Masters of Christian Education in June 2025, Brooklyn, NY.

Tammie holds certification in Grief and Loss Counseling, and Anger Management. She loves to study and teach the word of God, and also loves to watch tennis, football, basketball, and baseball.
